About us

WHO WE ARE

We are a local community of people who love God and want to grow in His love.

How We Do Things

It is our desire that people have an opportunity to meet with, and hear from God in a real and relevant way. With that in mind, our meetings have an informal and relaxed style. They consist of a time of praise (music, singing & prayer), followed by a relevant message from God's Word, where the bible is simply taught, verse by verse. Psalm 19:7-8 tells us that God's word, is sure and perfect, and it revives the soul, makes wise the simple, rejoices the heart and enlightens the eyes.

We also value the children, and desire that they know God in a real and personal way. So during the Sunday service we operate a Kids Club where, in a fun filled atmosphere they have the opportunity to learn about God through crafts, songs & bible stories. We have a child protection policy in place.

After our Sunday meeting, there's a great opportunity to meet with others, over a cup of tea or coffee.

So we hope that gives you a flavour of who we are, and why we meet.

Please feel free to come along on a Sunday morning at 11am.

You're invited!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

UNity

We are Christians — we believe, receive and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
John 3:16, 1 John 5:12-13, John 1:12, Romans 10:9, Matthew 10:32.
We are a part of the body of Christ, composed of all true Christians regardless of denominations.

We’re not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their overemphasis

of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.

God

Eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Created all, upholds all and governs all things. (Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 44:8, Isaiah 48:16, Matthew 28:19-20, John 10:30, Hebrews 1:3).

Jesus Christ is God the Son, the foundation and cornerstone of the church. He came to restore man's broken relationship with God. His finished work on the cross made that possible. Because of His love demonstrated on the cross by dying for our sins, we now have reason to fellowship with one another and proclaim salvation through His life, death, and resurrection (1 Corinthians 3:11, Ephesians 2:20, Romans 5:6-10).

The Bible
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant and authoritative word of God and is relevant and applicable to man today. Therefore we emphasis teaching it, studying it, and using it as a guide for our daily lives (Acts 20:32, 2

Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13).

Worship

We believe God is worthy of all our worship, and it’s our goal to do so with our whole lives; at home, at work,

and at play.

We also take time to praise Him in the church service with heartfelt music and song.

(John 4:23, Colossians 3:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Love

Love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to show a Christ-like

love toward all men. Love should be exhibited in our lives by our words and actions (John 13:34-35,

1 Corinthians 13:13, Philippians 2:3).

SPIRITUAL Growth
Our desire is to know Christ and be conformed into His image, likeness, and example by the power of the

Holy Spirit. We encourage this by abiding in Jesus Christ through His Word, prayer, fellowship and by yielding

our lives to the indwelling and empowering Holy Spirit (John 15:5, Romans 8:29, Acts 1:8).

Christian Service

We desire for every person to develop in their ministry for the glory of God and the benefit of the church, the community and the world. (Ephesians 4:11-13,1 Corinthians 12:4-7).
